Can you tell if this is an ilex opaca? There are some nearby American holly trees so I’m thinking it could be, but wasn’t sure if it could be a different variety of Holly.

This does not look like an American Holly. The end of the American Holly leaf tapers to a point. This holly has a truncated tip. I think it is likely a Chinese holly. Was there a holly there previously that this could be a root sucker from?
