I will forward your image to our entomologist to see if they are able to identify from the image.  It is a little dark to see detail and the insect is partially damaged.  I will get back with  you next week.

The insect in the submitted image is an adult cockroach, tentatively a smokybrown cockroach.


Control measures for American cockroaches are appropriate for this species.

Thank you for responding. 1 last question . Is this a wood roach or a nasty cockroach you can find in the house ?

This is not considered a wood roach that lives outside.
