I have recently found a lot of nests that are made with small wood chips inside the nest. The nest is so strong that I cannot pull larger pieces of wood from it without destroying the entire nest. This is the first year that I have noticed this type of nest. I have lived in Oregon since birth and have had a need for wood for the fire all my life.
I am unable to load my pictures from my phone to my computer at the moment. But if you would like pictures I can text to someone.
Should I be concerned about these nests? There are a lot of them in this wood pile

This sounds very interesting, but as you can imagine, the photos will be very important. Could you possibly login to AskExtension on your phone and then be able to upload the photos you've taken?
