This bug was crawling in my bathroom. It is approximately 1/8 inch long. I smushed it with toilet paper then encased it in scotch tape. That's the powdery white stuff around it. My apartment complex is being treated for bedbugs and cockroaches currently but this is the first bug I've seen in my apartment. Our office Mgr thinks it's a weevil.

The insect in the photo is not a bedbug or roach. It is a beetle and may in fact be a weevil. However, I can't confirm if it's a weevil or a different type of beetle. Either way, the insect in the picture does not pose a risk to human health.
