Some of the key things you will want to do include:
- Purchase mattress encasement if bedbugs are in the bedroom
- Bedbug interceptor traps for the legs of a bed, and fill the interceptors with a small amount of diatomaceous earth
- Thorough vacuuming of all areas with suspected bedbugs. The infographic includes a picture of the right way to vacuum bedbugs
- Launder any garments or bedding that may have been exposed to bed bugs. Do this on the highest temperature (Note that this could shrink some clothes).
