What does my ixora need? Leaves seem to go dull and drop. Some look rusty. Some have dried spots. It was bad in mid summer, seemed to be better, doing it again. Southern exposure. Planted in tall pots with good drainage. Osmocote in early spring. Watered with fish emilsion a couple times over summer.

At this time of year I would not be too concerned. The plant will not be actively growing so I would not add any fertilizer. The leaf scorch may be a result of either too much or too little water. This can occur when you are growing in pots, especially with the dry conditions we had this summer.
