Blue spruce needle cast #816285

Noticed needles are dropping from the pines on my septic mound. Have 17 trees on the mound, noticed 5 to 6 of them have this problem. How do I address the issue

Since I am located in southern Ohio, I am providing you with information based on research by university programs.
Below you will see links to two of the sources I found that discuss needle drop in blue spruce trees in the midwest.  Neither of these addressed any effect that might be influenced by the trees being planted on a septic mound.  Both indicate that Blue Spruce is a tree native to the mountains in Colorado, which may present challenges to flourishing growth of this tree in Ohio.
