This plant appeared very small two years ago but this year it has grown significantly
Is it a good one to hold the shore against erosion from boat waves especially wake boats
If not good what is the best way to remove?

It is a little difficult to identify this plant based on the leaves alone. Can you share any other information about the plant that you can share from other seasons, for example what the flower looked like?
Since we are just going on leaves at this point, it could possibly be this invasive plant, but again, but we can't be sure unless we had other info:
