Desert Rose Dying #814151

Asked October 13, 2022, 1:47 PM EDT

I brought my potted desert rose into the house last week because of the cold weather prediction.  It was healthy and getting ready to bloom.  Now the leaves are falling off and they have round discolorations with a small dark center.  I'm using Captain Jack's but it's not better yet.  Help!

My desert rose was ready to bloom when I brought it inside last week. Now the leaves are falling off. Please see the images leaves are top up, then bottom up.

Hi,

We have looked at your images of the desert rose which spent the summer outdoors but was recently brought indoors. It is common for any plant to lose leaves when brought into a lower light situation or having experienced temperatures less than 50 degrees before coming inside. It is not clear if this is a leaf spot or a reaction to a chill before being brought in. If it is leaf spot, there is not a safe fungicide to use indoors. It is always good to identify a disease before applying a pesticide.

Thank you for your question.
