Distorted leaves on Itea #812719

Our Itea virginica (Little Henry cultivar), which was planted late last fall, has been presenting distorted leaves at least since this spring. It isn't every leaf as you'll see from photos. The distortion seems to appear from the time the leaf is very new, so I don't think it's insect damage. We don't use any chemicals. Neither does our neighbor or community (on public spaces). I don't see damage on plants around it. Any ideas about the cause?

Expert Response
We can see some minor leaf spot, and perhaps some stunting that may have happened on a few leaves as they were still unfurling- we can't really say why.
However, the plant looks great overall and we think it is establishing well for you.
