Buckthorn tree #812628

Asked September 29, 2022, 2:23 PM EDT

Hello, I have a tree growing in my backyard. It is about 20 feet tall and is attractive. I did not plant it. I am worried that it may be a Buckthorn. If so, I think I should remove it. I have attached 3 photos of the trunk, baranches and leaves. Can you identify it for me? Thanks very much. Brad Anderson<personal data hidden>

Yes it is Buckthorn and should be removed because it spreads and crowds out native trees and shrubs. Details are on these web sites.
