Morning Glory #812391

Asked September 27, 2022, 12:43 PM EDT

My daughter's Morning Glory for the past three years grows very tall but doesn't get any flowers. Any reason why?

Expert Response

Usually morning glories do not bloom when they do not have enough sun.  Or, it could be a variety that needs a longer time of growth. If this has happened three years in a row, I would guess the seeds of this annual vine are somehow sterile.  I would have her remove the vine and put in new seeds next spring.
