Hello! All of the Mexican Petunias in our back yard look dry and have white spots on the leaves.

Expert Response

Hi Dawn,
It might be powdery mildew or possibly a tiny mite that results in those white spots.  It could be a type of growth distortion called erineum caused by tiny mites, eriophyid mites (Acalitus ruelliae).
Neem oil sprayed at the correct concentration may help smother those tiny insects.  It also helps solve the powdery mildew problem too.  You may have to repeat it a second time.
Hope this helps and wishing you all the best!
