Insect egg cases #812007

Asked September 23, 2022, 6:43 PM EDT

Can anyone identify these egg cases that I found on the underside of two leaves on my blueberry plant? I have removed the leaves and placed them in a sealed glass jar. If they are of no concern, I will put them back outside. If they are problematic, I will destroy them and check my blueberry plants for anymore. Thanks! Diane VA Master Naturalist

There are numerous species of leaf-footed bugs and they are plant-feeding insects. Remove and destroy eggs when found.
