Hello— I have quite a bit this grass (pictures) in my tall fescue lawn. It mixes in with the fescue and gives a tan-colored hue to the lawn. Can you help me with identification and possible elimination? Thank you. Joe Morris, Bethany Beach, DE

While I cannot say with 100% certainty what the species is, I am fairly confident that what is in the picture is Kentucky bluegrass. There are few control options for homeowners other than glyphosate and then re-seed. The glyphosate route would be the recommended method for chemical control for your scenario.
