Is this a kissing bug. 

Found in Anne Arundel County. I have a dog that had a nasty bug bite and is now very sick.

No, this is not a Kissing Bug; instead, it looks like a Florida Predatory Stink Bug, which despite the name occurs naturally in Maryland (though we're about as far north as they get). They feed on other insects, sometimes in groups, though we are not aware of any medically significant reactions from a bite (they are not inclined to bite the way a mosquito is, for instance, but are probably capable of doing so), though we are not trained in medical or veterinary diagnoses so can't determine if this or another arthropod was responsible.
