Need Help Identifying Wild Flower #810888

Asked September 15, 2022, 9:10 AM EDT

Hello-We have a wild flower/weed that sprouted in our front rocks. We decided to just let it go, and it has finally bloomed (Early September). It has been FULL of bumble and honey bees. We would like to know what this is. Thank you.

Jan,

I believe the plant is the large-leaved aster. I have attached a link to the MNWildflower.org website: https://www.minnesotawildflowers.info/flower/large-leaved-aster

Great fall pollinator plant! When the flower heads dry into seed, you should be able to harvest the dry seed and spread it elsewhere to enjoy.
