Hi there! I’m wondering what these bugs could possibly be. We’ve located many of them throughout our 2 story home; usually on window trim, baseboards, or baseboard heaters. They always seem to be alone rather than grouped together. We were worried about bed bugs, but have no other signs and are confused as to why we’d be finding them all around the home. Thanks!

Hi, They don't look like bedbugs which are bigger and shaped differently but can't tell from your photos what they are. They are so small that they probably need to be looked at under a microscope. You are welcome to contact the UConn Home & Garden Education Center (<personal data hidden>) to see how you can submit an insect sample to the UConn Plant Diagnostic Lab for identification.
