Ash borer, maybe?? #808058

I'm hoping I don't have them, found this pretty bug right after the news article I read about ash borers. I don't *think* it is, but am not sure, and would like another opinion. Thank you so, Dee Gaylord

Thank you for your question and your concern regarding the emerald ash borer. Luckily, that is a golden buprestid and not the emerald ash borer. The emerald ash borer is commonly seen as the shiny, green adult in June and July.
