What is this plant? #807445

I bought two unidentified vegetable plants from an Asian Supermarket, thinking they were red okra. They grew into sizeable bushes and not producing. Would you be able to identify them from these pictures? You are not far from me. I can also drop you some samples.

I shared you images with another colleague and he thinks the plant may be roselle, which I do agree with. See the attached links. Both plants are in the same family. The images of the flower may help you confirm identification.
