We have pulled Limelight, Quick Fire and Little Quick Fire all looking like the photo on this site. My question is will the soil be infected also? Can I plant another hydrangea in same site?
This may have been caused by infected pruners! We don't know. We have more to pull.

It is reasonable to assume the virus can survive teh winter.
