My HOA removed 3 large White Pine Trees from behind my house and there has been pooling water during rain storms in my backyard. Would anyone know how much ground water is absorbed by each tree? Will the loss of these trees lead to a sewage back up if the ground water level is too high by my house?

We have had some unusually heavy rains in recent weeks, and areas that don't usually flood could hold some water for a short time.
Is the area still holding water now?
If it's still not draining we are more apt to wonder if the ground has become compacted, perhaps due to the equipment or vehicles used to remove the trees?
If that area is a low spot that continues to have stormwater run-off issues, the area might benefit from being planted as a Rain Garden, which you can learn more about on our page here:

Your county has an excellent program for homeowners called RainScapes which should be helpful to you.
