My dropmore honeysuckle vine develops unsightly white spots every summer. Can you help me identify the problem and then is there a solution?

This looks like powdery mildew on your honeysuckle. It's unsightly but will not kill the plant. If possible, grow the vine in full sun to part shade and ensure it has good air circulation. A fungicide, when applied before the fungus hits, can be effective. You might want to apply one next spring.
