Grub holes? #802988

Asked July 25, 2022, 5:02 PM EDT

I find these holes frequently in my yard. This is the first time I saw something in them. This looks newly dug. Other ones have smooth entrances. They are the size of a dime or in this case a nickel or my thumbnail. What makes these holes?

Hi!

We can't identify the bug by the photos included. If you can get a photo of the entire bug, close-up, please reply and we will take a look!
