Hi,
This morning we found a swarm of these white flies on the side of our garage and nearby plants. Do sign of them yesterday. This happens each year. Seems a little early this year. I'm attaching pictures to this message. We have a extensive flower garden and I want to get on top of eradication if necessary.

While whiteflies are typically more of a greenhouse pest, they are sometimes an issue outdoors. If you are finding them by the 100s outdoors, you could try using a shop vac to remove them quickly.
Chemicals labeled for whitefly control on plants include neem oil, insecticidal soap, horticultural oil, pyrethrins, permethrin, imidacloprid and malathion. Before using any chemicals, follow the instructions on the label and be prepared that it could take multiple applications every 4-8 days to achieve control.
