We believe that this is a type of locust. Possibly Bristly Locust (Robinia hispida). It can be a rather aggressive plant. A feature that you may or may not have discovered. It has previously been reported in the Metro Area. Keep your eye on it as it can get “out-of-hand”. Here is some information about it:
