Black eyed Susan leaf problem #799333

Enclosing Pictures of leaves. Hard little green bump in middle with brown around. Sprayed the plants with fungicide (copper fungicide ) twice… the ground before they came up and when they were 4-5” tall

Hi Ruth,
What you are seeing is a type of  plant gall. Galls are abnormal plant growths caused by insects, mites, nematodes, fungi, bacteria and viruses.Galls rarely affect plant health and their numbers vary from season to season. Control is generally not suggested.
