I have had the fern for about a year. What is causing the brown spots on the leaves? New leaves continue to grow up from the center of the plant - which is good, I guess??

Several factors could account for the brown leaf tips and edges. Among these are too much or too little water, poor pot drainage, too much sun, and too much fertilizer.
