I have been growing various lilis for year with no issues, but this year I have one with two stocks and all the flower buds died early on. Any ideas about what may have caused this.
Thanks

Dear Marshall,
Until I looked at your photo, I was thinking the buds could have been nipped off by deer, because that's a problem I've been having.
But the blackened bud tells a different story. There are a number of issues that can affect lilies: rot, fungus, diseases, etc. This fact sheet from North Carolina State mentions them: https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/lilium/
Penn State has a good fact sheet on Orienpet lilies, but the remarks can apply equally to Asiatic lilies: https://extension.psu.edu/orienpet-lilies-are-show-stoppers-in-the-garden
So, a couple things to check for would be has the drainage situation at their planting site changed, causing rot; check the undersides of leaves for pests; and consider fungicide use in the future.
Best of luck.
