Hello, This year my Korean Lilac is very dismal. The blooms were small and now that the blooms are done the leaves are tiny. The bush is 11 years old. Can you suggest what I need to do to restore it to health? Thank you! Sandy Reed

Expert Response
If the shrub is still getting full sun (sometimes the canopy of a tree will affect number and quality of blooms) you can try doing some rejuvenation (renewal) pruning next spring to encourage younger, stronger stems to emerge. Fertilizer in either fall or spring can also help. If you are interested in signing up for an on line pruning class in 2023, please send your contact information to <personal data hidden>
