Apricot tree might possibly have shot hole disease. #797171

So was checking on my apricot tree today and I noticed that some of the leaves, I would say a good 30% of the trees leaves, had a bunch of little holes in then which initially made me think insects and or sun damage... but of course, after consulting the ever so wise google search engine my assertion sorely took a change for the worst when I stumbled upon "Apricot shot hole disease" which in all honesty, using the pictures I am attaching as reference, seemed to match up exactly to the situation I am having with my tree. So my question(s) is, what do I do to manage this ordeal so it doesn't spread to the entirety of the tree ? Or is it not something to initially worry about during the active season ? Should I prune off the suspected diseased ridden branches ? Or wait till the dormant season and use fungicide to control the spread? I've consulted my council of wise dads and they are just as 'stumped' as I am (tree pun). Hope to hear from you soon!!!
Bonus question: My friend is also having issues with his cherry tree and judging from the attached picture I am providing aside from my own ordeal, we can clearly see it is an abomination that needs to be culled with fire... or is their some wise knowledge you can bestow upon us to salvage our dire situations? Ok thanks! Appreciate ya!
