I'm trying to identify this grassy weed in my fescue lawn, it grows twice as fast as the rest of the turf.

Hi - Grassy weed identification is very challenging and relies on looking at fine details to determine the differences between similar-looking plants. This usually involves looking at the flower/seedheads, whether the stem is rolled or flat, if hairs are present on the leaves or stems, presence/absence of ligules or auricles, and characteristics of the roots and growth habit (creeping vs. clumping), etc. These are some resources that can help you learn about the characteristics to look at more closely:
While we can't always narrow-down ID to species with photos, we may be able to at least rule some out if you can provide images of some of the traits discussed above.
If you have just a few of these unwanted grasses in your lawn, you could dig them out by hand and repair bare spots in late summer.
