Apple Mosaic Virus? #795199

Asked June 10, 2022, 2:14 AM EDT

I have one apple tree that I think might have apple mosaic virus. I have grafted onto a couple of suckers coming from the root-stock and they show the mosaic pattern as well as the original tree. The original tree seems to be the least effected. If the virus is the problem should I be concerned about another tree that is quite close?

Hello, this spring has been very conducive to plant diseases. Apple mosaic virus does have more severe symptoms such as this spring.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it. If you plant apples in the future, look for virus-tested plant material.
