Hello, I spotted this guy at the Oregon Garden in Silverton yesterday (6/7/2022). My friend says it’s a Northwestern Garter but I’m not seeing photos of any Oregon garters with the yellow “ribs” - can you confirm? Thank you!

I believe this is a northwestern garter snake (Thamnophis ordinoides) - They are the most variable in terms of color and markings, in large part because they're noted for that dorsal (center/top) stripe that can be white, absent or virtually any other color.
