Asked June 06, 2022, 12:09 PM EDT
We planted it last spring, and it’s seemed to do very well. Over the winter two branches died and I cut them out in early spring. Now two more branches have died. Can you help me identify the problem? I don’t see any evidence of insects or fungus.

It appears someone has responded to your question, but I received your inquiry also. I agree with the answer you received. I found a website with information on Pieris japonica that may help in understanding the needs of the plant and whether the location it is in meets the requirements.
