Plum circulio? Can I do anything? #794392

Asked June 05, 2022, 8:42 PM EDT

Hi I believe this is evidence of the presence of plum circulio weevil based on a question a few years ago. Since it’s so early, is there anything I can do to save this years crop? I have 4 trees, 2 haralson and 2 honey crisp. Thank you Scott

Note that insecticides do not help damaged fruit and that the useful insecticides are harmful to pollinators.

On fruit that is not infected, bagging can be effective in preventing fruit loss.
