Dying Evergreen Trees #793484

We live in Dryden MI and all of our evergreen trees are dying. Think that they are pine. It's almost as if there is a disease as we have many of these large trees and they all look the same. Is there anything that I can do for these trees as I will hate to lose them?

Hi Don,
while it's hard to say what is affecting the trees from the needles, my guess based on the timing and the open nature in which the trees are growing is that it might be a result of winter injury? Could also be compounded with a root issue due to current growing conditions. Both wet and dry extremes could contribute to the issue. 
The University of Minnesota has a publication that outlines causes of needles turning brown from the tips down; perhaps you will recognize one of the descriptions as fitting what you are seeing?
