Baby Redbud Trees -Issue With Leaves - Hoping we can save them! #793186

I have small redbud trees that have been thriving well in pots with drainage for about a month. Suddenly they have leaves that are curling, dead on the edges and now appear limp and some are slightly brown all over. There is a potted maple tree having the same issue. I thought it might be that the pots were holding too much water because we've had so much rain, but it appears that two large trees in the same area are having the same issue. I thought about trying neem oil, but I'm not sure. I dug the small trees out of my flower beds to transplant on my daughter's property.
I would really appreciate your advice as soon as possible so they don't die.
Thank you so much!

Francis,
From what it sounds like, is stress, more then likely from the transplanting. It should come around. I am providing a link about this.

Make sure it is getting plenty of drainage, too much will rot the roots.
You can also look under leaves for possible spider mites or aphids.
If you still have problems, contact your local county extension office.
