I have some 6 week old butternut squash seedlings. I just built a 9 ft x 9 ft trellis for them and am wondering how far away from the trellis they should be planted. I watched a youtube video that suggests planting them about 12 to 16 inches apart for vertical gardening. Does that should right to you?
Thanks,

Nice! About a foot from the trellis and at least a foot and a half apart is about the minimum. They are big plants and heavy feeders.
