Hello!
I work at Cornell Farm Nursery and a customer sent pictures of the camellia they planted in the fall that is covered with brown spots. My first reaction was tissue damage from hail or chemical overspray but looking more carefully I'm wondering if it isn't something more. I would love your input so we can help save this poor thing -- or not.
Any input is much appreciated!

Hi there,
It looks like weather damage to me. I scanned through common camellia diseases and the photos don't match any of the symptoms here: https://pnwhandbooks.org/plantdisease/host-and-disease-descriptions?title=Camellia
The plant looks a bit thin. I'd give it some slow release fertilizer.
