I have tiny red bugs on my outdoor patio and some inside the semi enclosed patio on the concrete floor. I picked up a few with some clear tape and took pictures of them under a child's microscope I have so they look much bigger than they are. In real life they look like tiny red clover seeds that are walking around!

This appears to be a sidewalk mite. They can appear in alarming numbers occasionally. They don't pose a hazard, generally they are predators that feed on pest mites but some are pollen feeding instead. Hopefully you aren't still seeing them, if you are then ignoring them or spritzing with soapy water would help.
