Asian Longhorn Beetle grub or something else? #789015

Hello. We came across this rather large grub while clearing a vine in our backyard. Googling the image came up with an Asian Longhorn Beetle, but hoping maybe someone could positively identify what it is. I still have it, and it's still alive.

Hi Alex, 

Though we can't pinpoint the type, this is a borer insect. Many different species of borers attack trees and shrubs and we would advise disposing of it. You can read more on this common pest here:
