Ice crystals or sebum #787886

I recently ate at a fast food restaurant and wondering if it's ice crystals or sebum(fat) from a dirty cup on the surface of my soda.

Thank you for your question.  That's quite a photo.  While I can't be certain, my best guess would be that the film could either be the result of grease/oil left behind after the cup was washed or from grease/oil in the water supply.  It does not appear to be from ice crystals.
