Bark falling off elm tree #786811

Asked April 14, 2022, 12:48 PM EDT

It’s taken a couple of years for bark to fall off. I want to know if my tree is safe from falling. It is blooming nicely now. It’s rotten a few inches behind fallen bark, looks like a bug maybe, but don’t see any. You’re help appreciated

Upon further looking, I found some white termite looking bugs in the sawdust behind the bark

I sent a photo.
