No sprout on avocado pit #783483

Hello, I put this avocado pit in water over two months ago. You can see that there is an extensive root system, but I see no sign of sprouting at all. Shall I continue soaking the pit, or give up on this? Thanks! (It's fine to publish this question, but please don't include my personal info.)

We wouldn't give up yet. The 'sprouting' has to start with the root system. You might see the crack around the seed widening if you look closely. That suggests that the top part of the plant is growing and will eventually sprout.
