I will be planting 10 canaan fir trees in my back meadow/yard and would like to encourage the growth of mycorrhizae fungi for enhancing the trees' growth. I became interested in this topic since reading Suzanne Simard's book "Finding the Mother Tree".
The trees I am planting will be root bare, I think. Thank you for any insight or resources to contact.

Hello Susan,
There are several places to purchase beneficial mycorrhizae that can be used as a root dip at planting. I did a quick search on google and put in 'mycorrhizae for tree planting' and several companies came up. I don't have any experience with a specific company but saw A.M. Leonard, BioWorks, Wildroot Organics, etc. Good luck with the firs!
