Hello, thanks for this question. It's not really about the seed catalogue when selecting seeds for our region it is more about the days to maturity. In our area, depending on where you live, the typical frost free season is between 70-90 days, with higher elevations being shorter than the lower elevations. We recommend that a gardener select seeds with short maturity times. Sourcing seeds from a vendor as close as possible is something some people consider but this does not generally result in the quality of the seeds purchased or how well they do here.
