Overfeeding #780219

Asked January 13, 2022, 8:43 PM EST

Hi, I have sheep and the person I bought them from wasn't good with schedules, so I started feeding grain and way too much of it too soon. The sheep are pregnant, and their rear ends have looked swollen and I'm afraid they may get prolapse. I would like to know if I should hold off feed for a while before I slowly move them back onto grain. I have withheld feed for two days and it seemed to get better, but today I was worried, so I gave them a small amount just in case taking the grain away was the wrong thing to do. If you have a suggestion, I would very much appreciate it.
