Is our ash tree already dead from ash tree borer disease? #779059

Asked December 13, 2021, 4:52 PM EST

Hi. My name is Pam Hendrickson. My husband and I live in Loveland, CO. My husband noticed our ash tree has several borer holes and the entire trunk is peeling off in most areas. We don’t want to spend the money on an arborist if the tree can not be saved. Can you please give us your expert advice? Thanks so much, Pam Hendrickson 4013 Don Fox Circle Loveland, CO. 8053<personal data hidden>

Hi,

I called the Larimer County Extension on Monday morning, but have not received a call back.  I just tried again.  I will also try the work email.  Maybe that will help.

Thanks a lot,

Pam
