What is the name of this weed and how can I get rid of them, taking over !!!

This is commonly known as Creeping Charlie.  It is difficult to control.  Pulling works but you have to remove all parts of the plant or it will "creep" back.  Please see this site for further information on controlling this weed - https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/controlling-creeping-charlie/
